Anthem recently hosted a #NotAlone Twitter chat with Dr. Ken Duckworth, Chief Medical Officer for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), that dived into the issues surrounding mental health and the impact of COVID-19 on consumers’ wellbeing.
I was so grateful for the opportunity to engage with our social media community and share coping strategies on how to navigate challenges during this difficult time. We received many valuable insights from chat participants—I was especially glad to see all of the open conversation about acceptance and listening without judgment. Sharing our personal experiences with mental health issues helps us normalize these conversations.
